Most people are not aware of the existence of the American Museum of Clock and Watchmaking.

There are many great museums in Nutmeg State. We have art museums, history museums, and science museums that can compete with anyone in the country. But if you find yourself looking for a unique museum in Connecticut that you can only discover here, look no further.! The American Clock and Watch Museum is a fascinating hidden gem in Bristol. It is one of the few museums in the country devoted to watchmaking (the history of timekeeping). They have a huge collection of American made clocks and watches which is one of the largest in the world. You do not have to be fascinated by clocks to enjoy a visit here.

In these uncertain times, keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket-to-visit list at a later date.

This is a Connecticut museum that is sure to give you a great time! (We couldn’t resist a pun.)
