Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association Celebrates National Travel and Tourism Week

MONTICELLO – 21stst The annual Tailgate Pamphlet Swap Event hosted by the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is being held from 3.30pm to 6.30pm today (Wednesday May 4) at the Forestburgh Playhouse in Forestburgh.

Local business representatives gather outside the performance hall to exchange brochures, literature and information about their organization.

Food will be provided by Mr. Willy’s.

“This is a great opportunity for members to showcase their hospitality business to hundreds of businesses in the Sullivan Catskills,” said SCVA President Roberta Byron-Lockwood. “Attendees will have the opportunity to share brochures and learn about industry information in the Sullivan Catskills as we head into warmer weather.”

The event is free for two SCVA members and $20 for each additional person per company; $30 for non-member companies. The event is sponsored by Bold Gold Media Group and the Sullivan County Democrat.

National Travel & Tourism Week is the annual celebration of the contribution of the American travel industry and was held from May 1-7.
