Tolland officials tout new regional tourism branding survey

The towns of Bolton, Coventry, Mansfield and Tolland are seeking community feedback on new regional tourism branding. Residents and business owners are encouraged to complete an online survey by October 11.The cities of Bolton, Coventry, Mansfield and Tolland have hired Dornenburg Kallenbach Advertising (DKA) to create a tourism brand for the four-city region. As part of the branding process, the four cities seek community input on proposed branding options. A short survey is available online. It will only take a few minutes and the responses will remain anonymous. The online survey is available through October 11, 2022 at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/4TownsBrandSurvey. This new collective branding for the region as a destination will complement each city’s marketing and will not replace each city’s logo or branding. An Economic Vitality Action Plan prepared in 2020 by AdvanceCT, in conjunction with the CT Department of Community and Economic Development, determined that the area could better promote its assets to encourage visitor attraction and business growth. The action plan recommended that the region have a significant opportunity to be seen as a premier destination to dine, shop and play, based on its distinctive mix of resources across the four cities. These resources include outdoor recreation, agriculture and agritourism, culture and entertainment, institutions of higher learning, and small businesses and entrepreneurs.
